Bandwidth Management

Webscreen v.3 has built-in network layer bandwidth control allowing the data centre manager to ensure quality of service for mission critical applications through prioritisation of network traffic.

Webscreen allows the administrator to apply hard and soft filters to critical applications or groups. This is particularly useful in an ISP environment or enterprise internet gateway where multiple services or clients are hosted.

In effect the data centre manager can allocate bandwidth on a per group or per port basis by applying intelligent filters to all traffic enabling bandwidth usage to be controlled and recharged in a multi client environment.
